Important Notice:

We would like to keep the tournament on the West side of campus.  There is a boutique on the side of the main student parking lot. With that said, I need for debaters, coaches, and judges to park in the front of the school and along the dirt on Nadal St. Judges room, tabroom, and food for judges will be in the library.  Only coaches will be permitted to use the bathroom in the library.  Judges will need to use the bathroom downstairs in the J building. There will be food trucks on campus which are for the boutique fundraiser and not for debaters.  We will be selling food out of the D building.  Please, realize the D building is our fundraising and the food trucks are not. There will be signs in front of the school and students with maps to assist in making sure that we stay on the side of the school that is away from the boutique.  Map

Because of the differences that exist in human perception, a subjective quality is present in the scoring of Speech and Debate rounds. Even with rules and evaluation criteria for guidance,  judges will not evaluate the same performance in an identical manner. While we do everything possible to maintain consistency in scoring, winning results are not guaranteed.
