Entries: You must indicate whether your entry is a Novice
(1st or 2nd congress), Junior Varsity (3rd or 4th congress), or Varsity (5th congress or more)
entry. Varsity entries should expect to PO
one round.
Fees: $15 per entry including PO's (Schools entering should plan on entering a PO).
Judges: Each school is obligated to provide one qualified judge per every 10
entries or fraction thereof. For TCFL Congress tournaments, it is suggested that judges must
have not more than 2 conflicts in the tournament in order to count
towards a school's judging obligation. Coaches are strongly encouraged
to provide a non-coach judge at Congress tournaments.
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, November 1, 2022, by 11:55pm.
Register at Tabroom.com. E-mail Jerome Robinson at jrobinson9812@att.net for any questions. Entries will only be accepted by coaches on contact sheet. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU
DON'T SEE YOUR SCHOOL LISTED ON THE REGISTRATION PAGE, YOU'RE NOT ENTERED. Because of the differences
that exist in human perception, a subjective quality is present in the
scoring of Speech and Debate rounds. Even with rules and evaluation
criteria for guidance, judges will not evaluate the same performance
in an identical manner. While we do everything possible to maintain
consistency in scoring, winning results are not guaranteed.
Upon entering, you agree to the following
